Category 1: From the saddle
You show your horsemanship from the saddle. The choice of optoming and saddles is free. With or without bit, saddle, bareback pad or neckrope. Everything is allowed. In your video you show the following with your horse:
1.1 Mandatory exercise (max 2 min):
A large volte counterclockwise followed by a large volte clockwise in trot in which you show two smooth transitions step-trot.
A large volte to the left followed by a large volte clockwise at a gallop. You can choose whether you show counter gallop, flying switches or switches by means of single step or trot passes.

1.2 Discipline specific exercise (max 2 min)
On a large volte counterclockwise followed by a large volte clockwise, show a number of exercises that are specific to the discipline / current that you practice with your horse. This may include:
- An obstacle that you hit from two sides (jumping)
- A slalom with pawns (Working Equitation)
- Bars in a certain pattern
- Side corridors and/or transitions between collection and middle or extended corridors (dressage)
- Obstacles from an agility or scare course.
- A combination of exercises from multiple schools of thought/disciplines.
It is important that you show the exercises on an 8 (volte counterclockwise followed by a volte clockwise) on both sides. You can drive an 8 several times.
1.3 Free exercise (max. 1 min)
Is there anything else you can do very well from the saddle? Then show it!
You will be assessed on:
- Horsemanship - The way rider and horse work together. Is there harmony, mutual trust and understanding? Partnership?
- Riding technique - Is the rider in balance? Are the exercises performed fluently? Is there a slight leaning? Effect of the aids?
- Difficulty – Bonus points when you show progressive transitions, perform the exercises at speed. Shows a high degree of collection, strength and momentum. Or a combination of multiple obstacles or obstacles on one line. But.... The level of difficulty must not be at the expense of correct execution or harmony.
Category 2: From the ground up
You show your horsemanship from the ground. You can work from the ground up in freedom, on a leadrope, the lunge or long leidenls.
2.1 Mandatory exercise (max. 2 min):
- 2x hand change to trot or canter, smoothly sequentially
- Stop from a trot or canter
- Backwards
- From halt or step a transition to the trot/canter
2.2 Discipline specific exercise (max. 2 min)
Show a number of exercises that are specific to the current or discipline that you practice with your horse. This may include:
- (Free) jumping from a number of obstacles

- Side courses, collection, middle and/or extended courses (classical dressage exercises)

2.3 Free interpretation
Is there anything else you can do very well with your horse from the ground? Then show it!
Your entry will be judged on:
- Horsemanship - The way trainer and horse work together. Is there harmony, mutual trust and understanding? Partnership?
- Technique - Effect and lightness of the aids. Impulse, stroke and relaxation of the horse in the execution.
- Difficulty – Bonus points when you show progressive transitions, perform the exercises at speed or show a high degree of collection, strength and momentum. Be creative, for example with a combination of multiple obstacles or obstacles on one line. But.... The level of difficulty must not be at the expense of correct execution or harmony.
